After that we went to Wellington to bring some berries to our friends. We stopped in to see Xi and Paul and their little girl Shannon. The berries were a big hit, and so was Xi's baby swing that she just bought for her little one who is due in September. Then we stopped by to visit Marilyn and Jack and we swapped blueberries for some maple syrup from Marilyn's family's sugarbush farm in northern Michigan.
After that, we went home and rested a bit. Then we slathered up in sunblock and went to check out the East Pool in Elyria because I'm thinking about doing a parent-baby swim class but wanted to see how she likes the water first. It was hard to tell whether she liked the water. She wasn't afraid of it and she seemed to be analyzing everything - the water, the noise, the other kids playing in the pool. She didn't like it much when water splashed on her face, but I think it's because she's not used to it yet. All in all, I think the baby swim class will be fun (if not for Fiona, then for me!)
About to check out the pool
