Blurry zoo visit.

WOW!

Fiona's favorite word is "wow".

Well for a change and a little exercise we took Fiona downtown to the Cleveland Zoo.

Wow, was the word of the day. We went to the rainforest exhibit and wandered around in 80 degree heat with high humidity. Ahh, nice. There were fishing cats and South American Ocelots and a host of weird named little monkeys. Unfortunately the camera we have is a little slow and not good at action or low light photos.
Therefore we were a bit unprepared to capture what an exciting event this was for Fiona.


We went around and around looking at strange plants, looking for half visible toads. When we came to the orangutang enclosure Fiona had a close up encounter with one interested forest creature.

I turned the flash off so as not to scare off this big ape. She came right down and took a look at us as if to check on Fiona. And Fiona, well she was excited and kept looking at those big apes as they explored their zoo habitat.
We all went home a little refreshed and I can't wait to take Fiona to the zoo again......with a better camera.
